Academic Coach

SEAM Plus LLC is a Virtual Learning Academy that prepares children to be successful students. SEAM Plus LLC provides a professional learning foundation that is interconnected between school, home, and community.  Training will focus on the needs of students to promote a continuous journey toward life-long learning and professionalism.

SEAM Plus Virtual Learning Academy works remotely with students across the United States. We are a learning platform that provides positive experiences currently for clients in grades 2nd - 8th Grade. Our clients look for Academic Coaches who are enthusiastic, friendly, articulate, reliable and encouraging.  We are currently looking for Academic Coaches who can teach students who range from 2nd grade - 8th grade in the areas of Language Arts, Math and Reading, utilizing our pre-made curriculum or homework assistance. Academic coaches are paid once a week and have additional opportunities to sub for other tutors as needed. We take care of the behind the scene needs (we contact parents, take care of payments, etc.) so that you can focus on providing stellar tutoring services.

Between 4pm - 7pm CST. Monday - Friday

• Up to 20 hours per week.

What do we look for in an Academic Coach?

​

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Someone who is excited about Teaching

• Must have a Degree in Education 

• Licensed/Certified Teachers: Elementary Education or Middle School Education

• Teaching experience with students 2nd - 8th Grade (Language Arts, Reading and Math)

• Basic computer skills and able to navigate online programs successfully and independently

• Criteria to pass a background check

• Ability to personalize the lesson as needed

• Current certification as a teacher preferred

Pay Rate: $20/hr
